According to the Worcester County Health Department, two people who visited Ocean City, Maryland have contracted Legionnaires’ disease after staying at the Econolodge Oceanblock on 145th Street.
Water samples taken at the hotel tested positive for Legionella bacteria and so the hotel has voluntarily shut down in order to remediate the problem.
