Earlier this week, President Obama made his 29th visit to Pennsylvania and addressed a national convention of military veterans in Pittsburgh.
During the address, Obama spoke of the Iran deal, but also touched on the Legionnaires’ disease outbreak saying:
“[The outbreak] was a tragedy, and whenever there are any missteps, there is no excuse. So our hearts go out to the families of those who lost loved ones.
“The safety measures now in place are some of the strongest in the nation, and patient safety is a top priority at VA hospitals because we have to prevent anything like that from ever happening again.”
