According to an article by News Works, a maintenance worker at Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia is currently recovering from Legionnaires’ disease. However, there is no suggestion that the employee contracted the illness at MLK High School because tests were negative. The employee did work at other schools in the Philadelphia School District including West Oak Lane School and McKinley Elementary School. Further testing is being done and results from McKinley Elementary will be released by the end of this week.
