The Florida Department of Health in St. Johns County is investigating a case of Legionnaires’ disease. There is little information known about this unidentified person, however, it is known that the person was in St. Augustine for a conference when symptoms began and is currently receiving medical treatment. Health investigators are unsure where this individual acquired the disease, but there is currently no evidence that this person was infected in the surrounding area.
